Synopsis

«Alfa Romeo»To this day many people still consider Alfa Romeo to be the embodiment of design, Italian car making and car racing. Even Enzo Ferrari learned the ropes as a mechanic at Alfa Romeo. The company was founded in June 1910 as "Anonima Lombarda Fabbrica Automobili" - or short: A.L.F.A. Five years later engineer Nicola Romeo acquired the business. Shortly afterwards they put their focus on car racing and the development of racing cars like the Alfa 24 HP.
