Synopsis
Vigo (Pontevedra). O Marisquiño has its centre at the Vigo seafront, extending throughout the port and very close to the city's historic district, making this space a hallmark of the festival. In an area of 150,000 square metres, the great contests of the festival take place by the sea: on the Paseo de las Avenidas, the Transatlantic Dock, the Náutico and the Espigón. The different sports areas and cultural activities have a spectacular set-up along this privileged area between the Ría of Vigo and the city. Vialia, the main point of arrival for young people in Vigo and a shopping centre; and the Samil beach, with views of the Cíes and one of the iconic elements of the city, will also host some of the action this year.
