Synopsis
Jeune avocat sans scrupules, Fletcher Reede passe le plus clair de son temps à mentir. Il abandonne sa femme, qu'il aime pourtant, et oublie l'anniversaire de son fils. Le petit Max désespère de ce comportement et fait un voeu qui se réalise : son père, désormais, ne peut plus s'empêcher de dire la vérité...
