Synopsis
On 2 March 1990, in the cult French television programme « Apostrophes », Quebec journalist Denise Bombardier was the sole opponent of writer Gabriel Matzneff. Confronted by Bernard Pivot, she courageously denounced his paedophile writings and the complacency of the French intelligentsia, alerting public opinion well before the scandal broke.
